So, the reason I've been so lax at updating recently is because I've begun a new job about a month and a half ago. I'm currently creating concept art for a new kids show over at Pinewood Studios!
There's not much more I can say about it at this juncture other than it's shaping up to be awesome and that it should be airing early 2011, more news on that as soon as I'm allowed to blab!
I've not had much time to draw my own stuff lately but here's something I buried myself in at Starbucks last Saturday. I've been reading a ton of One Piece lately, if you haven't read any of it I urge you to do so as it's home to some of the most extraordinary fight scenes I've seen in any medium! I've been trying to study some of Eichiro Oda's techniques to add a little zing to my own fight scene's- here's one of my first tries and another little sketch:
