High Powered

Another quick drawing of Daigo at full-power on the offensive!
Maybe one day I'll get back into drawing this comic, I've got loads of cool new ideas for it's direction, I think it'd be epic!

By the way, I heard the other day that Guru from Gang Starr passed away, it's a real shame, he was a Hip Hop legend and he'll be missed for sure.

  2. Hi,

Loved your drawings. They were kind of inspiration to me. I'm not an animator or artist or somethin'. But in my childhood I used to draw as a hobby. But then days went and I left it in between. Now I'm 25. And suddenly my old hobby has popped in front of me like a long forgotten memory. I wanna try hand in animation, but got no formal training. Can you suggest me how should I start?

Thank you for the kind words about my drawings, I'm flattered!
That's great that you've rediscovered your love for drawing, I wish you the very best of luck persuing a career in it. It's very hard work and extremely competitive but if you're passionate enough I'm sure you can do it.
If it's definitely animation you want to do I'd recommend going on a course, there's a lot to learn as well as the expenses of setting up a home studio so a course is probably your best bet. I've got no training in this area so can't recommend any courses in particular. I would however advise you buy and read The Illusion of Life by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston and also The Animator's Survival Kit by Richard Williams.

If it's just drawing in general get as enthused as possible about artists work that you love and really try to figure out how they work and why they work that way and draw everything around you as much as possible- Practise is the only path to progression in drawing.

I wish you the best of luck, let me know how you get on!
